Udaan Empowerment Trust was established in December 2017 with a mission to empower visually challenged individuals and provide them with limitless opportunities. The trust's objective is to create a world that is inclusive and supportive of people with disabilities, where they can live with dignity and respect. To achieve this mission, the trust has launched various initiatives that cater to the diverse needs of the visually impaired community.

Radio Udaan, which provides a platform for visually challenged people to share their stories and experiences. The trust also offers computer classes and other accessible devices to help the community get connected with technology. In addition to this, Udaan Empowerment Trust engages in advocacy to let the voice of the community reach higher authorities. To promote awareness and inclusion, Udaan Empowerment Trust launched an awareness campaign to spread awareness about recent schemes and policies of the government. The trust also collaborates with Mitra Jyothi to produce INSITE MAGAZINE, a braille magazine for visually impaired individuals.

Shiksha Vani Podcast

Podcast called Shiksha Vani of CBSE disseminates audio content for various subjects of grades 9 to 12, in a timely, educative, lucid and seamless manner. CBSE-Shiksha Vani is available on Play Store for Android phone users. So far Shikshavani contains approximately 400 pieces of content in the form of audio files on topics in accordance with NCERT curriculum.
